Earlier Work
The Vault contains work and stories that have languished in file cabinets. Some completed, most bits and pieces. I have gone through and pulled some. While they not be the best, these are worlds I would like to revisit.

Somme time ago, a wonderful artist, Maddy Shellabarger (who did this picture, said to me she had a title and asked if I would write a story around it. The title was "Why the Quokka Lost His Smile". I thought it was a wonderful title and wrote this story. It was meant to be a picture book but but the project was not completed,

My concept was to write a series of stories that take place somewhere called The Grove, with this to be the first story to come out of it. All of the stories would be told by the elderly animal character seen here.

Maybe one day I will revisit the Grove and tell other
stories about the characters that live there.
