Hermie & Friends

Years ago, when I was General Manager of an animation studio, a major client was Thomas Nelson Publishing for whom we made Hermie & Friends. The series starred Tim Conway and Don Knotts (until his passing), and a special guest star for each episode in the series such as Fred Willard, Vicki Lawrence, and John O'Hurley (J. Peterman on Seinfeld). I produced a number of films and, towards the end of the series, wrote the scripts for two. In one of the episodes I wrote, "Who's In Charge Anyway?", I introduced a character I was very fond of. It was a Venus Fly-Trap. In the many moves, and different computers, I will put up the original script in the Vault shortly, but in the meantime, here is a pic of the Venus Fly-Trap. and the unused cover pic.
